about

From Losfer Words Stygian Odyssey CD
Music inspired by J.R.R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings:
In Middle Earth there were being of many races who wielded sorcerous powers. Among the late-come race of Men, those who gave themselves over to sorcerous powers were known as Witches. The most powerful Witchers were the Ringwraiths who were named Nazgul in the dark elvish tongues. Of these nin Witches one emerged whose power was supreme. For many centuries men spoke fearfully of the Witch King of Angmar. Later the same Witch King arose again in the south, after conquering Minas Ithil, the tower of the moon and renaming it Minas Morgul, the tower of sorcery. There the Witch King ruled until the days of the War of the Ring, when he was destroyed by Eowyn of Rohan and Meriadoc Brandybuck of The Shire. So, this track is not so much about hunting witches as it is about witches hunting for The One Ring to rule them all.
